Solari Benzema is playing through pains

first_imgReal Madrid manager Santiago Solari is proud of striker Karim Benzema who has been playing through the pain barrier in recent games.Madrid are currently playing with a thin squad after their squad was decimated via injuries to key players like Toni Kroos and Gareth Bale.Benzema, however, delayed a surgical repair after suffering a broken finger in the win over Real Betis on January 13th.The French international went on to feature in the La Liga win against Sevilla and the Copa del Rey victory over Girona where he scored the fourth goal and played the entire 90 minutes in both matches.And Los Blancos boss Solari singled him out for praise in his Saturday morning press conference and cited via Football Espana.“I am very pleased with Benzema.
