Lenovo on Tuesday informed that its ultra-affordable 4G phone, Vibe K5 has received over 4,00,000 registrations ahead of its first ever flash sale that will be held on Wednesday. The Vive K5 – which is successor to the company’s budget phone A6000 – is an Amazon-exclusive in India and will go on sale for the first time at 2PM IST on June 22. The phone will cost buyers Rs 6,999.The Vibe K5 was first announced at the MWC 2016 event in Barcelona alongside the Vibe K5 Plus. The Vibe K5 Plus is already available in India at a price of Rs 8,499. The phone is sold exclusively through Flipkart.The Lenovo Vibe K5 has a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which is further expandable by up to 32GB via a microSD card.
