Disclosed one of Dream’s players who preferred anonymity.“Payments are no longer regular and timely like it was in the first season and in turn, motivation has sunk to it’s lowest.“We were forced to change our training ground in the course of the season and it only destabilized is further.“Some of the players no longer turn up on a daily basis and I am scared the team may be no more at the end of the season. With all that in mind, Dream have another league game on Thursday against Elephants.Having secured a 3-2 victory over Equator last week, the defending champions have a chance to make it two victories in as many games. They may not be gunning for the title anymore but will very much want to finish as high up the table as possible.Currently, they sit 5th on 35 points but a run of good results can see them at least finish third on the log by the end of the season.Their Thursday opponents, Elephants, start the day in 12th with 14 points.Meanwhile, the top two of Yeak Kabowa and Park will also be in action on the same day.Yeak who are currently top of the standings with 51 points will take on Crown at 8pm.The Kabowa based side have been in fine form lately, winning all of their last three league games.Yeak have won all their last three games. With Park hot on their heels, they know they can not afford any slip-ups at this stage.“We are aware of the situation below us and we will try to win as many games as possible so as we do not allow Park any chance of getting closer to us. Said Yeak striker Robert Bakka ahead of the game on Thursday.“We take on Crown, a side that always complicates matters but we know we have the players to beat them.Yeak have been dealt a major blow ahead of the game as they will be without top scorer Enock Ssebagala who was sent off in the 2-1 win over Crown last week. In the stands, Ssebagala will be joined by John Musasizi who also saw red in the same game. For Park, they will take on hard-fighting Bajim at 7pm.Park are coming off a 5-2 victory against Bajim in their last game.Four points behind Yeak, they know that they still have a big chance to win this year’s championship but they need to win games on a regular basis.“We are under no pressure going into the last 7 games of the season, noted Park Captain Iddi Babu.“Our target is to win all our remaining games and see what happens at the end of the season.Bajim will however be no pushover for Park as they have developed a never say die attitude throughout the season. The Derrick Mubiru captained side have picked up more points from losing positions than any other side in the League this season.Currently in 6th, their target if finishing high up the table as possible. In the other day’s games, Equator takes on Typhoon, Mengo City play Kabowa United, Nomad and Yap Stars also do battle while Parakeets locks horns with Aidenal.Yeak’s Enock Ssebagala still leads the scoring charts with 36 goals, one ahead of teammate Shaffic Avemah.Comments Tags: DreamEncok SsebagalaFutsal Super LeagueIddi BabuParkRobert BakkaShafick AvemahYeak Kabowalast_img
