The 17-year-old netminder was tended to by trainers and paramedics on the ice for roughly 10 minutes before he was stretchered off the ice and taken to a hospital.The IceDogs announced on Twitter at 9:30 p.m ET Thursday that Tynan was in stable condition and in surgery. Two hours later, the team confirmed his surgery was successful and on Friday, the team said the Chicago, Ill. native is expected to make a full recovery. The Ontario Hockey League and Niagara IceDogs announced Friday that they will postpone the next two games the team had scheduled for this weekend following the serious injury goalie Tucker Tynan sufferedThursday against the London Knights.”To allow IceDogs players time to cope and access resources for support, games scheduled for Saturday, December 14 in Peterborough, and Sunday, December 15 in Ottawa have been postponed and will be rescheduled at dates still to be determined,” the team wrote in a statement.
